Before launching the agency at the start of 2012 she was a director and head of communications at independent mortgage broker Private Finance. Melanie is a qualified mortgage adviser, and before moving into the communciations business, was a financial journalist for a decade, including five years as personal finance editor of the Independent on Sunday. She has also written a number of books on property and personal finance, including Renting Out Your Property for Dummies and Sorting Out Your Finances for Dummies.
