Sharedealing online can bring significant savings in costs. You can deal online for as little as £10 per trade, regardless of the size of the deal, and many brokers offer introductory terms, making trading even cheaper.

 

Some brokers will restrict how much you can invest, what shares you can buy from them, and often won't give you a share certificate, which means that you can only sell your shares via the same broker from which you bought them.
